ISLANDER GENERAL POLICIES & SERVICES

Confirmed Reservations

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. A confirmed reservation will hold your accommodations through the night of your arrival. Once you have confirmed your reservation, you are guaranteed a room type. We will strive to fulfill requests for a specific room number and location.

 

Cancellation

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 48 hours in advance of your stay.   A one night rate will be charged for cancellations made within 48 hours.

 

Deposit

A deposit is required upon check in.  We accept credit card or cash deposit.  The credit card provided will be authorized upon check in.  A credit card transaction will not finalize or applied until you check out or if instructed to do so.  If a credit card deposit is not provided, a refundable cash deposit of $200 will be required.  

 

Discount

An ID must be presented at check in for AAA, AARP, and Active Duty Military discounts.  A Charter registration must be presented for Charter discounts.

 

Check-In Time

Our check-in begins at 4:00pm or as rooms become available.  If you intend to arrive before the applicable check-in time, please notify the Guest Services. We will make every effort to have your room available for you. We suggest that you plan to occupy your accommodations after our designated check-in times.  If you are arriving after hours, notify us in advance and we will arrange a late check in.

 

Check-Out Time

Our check-out time is 11:00am. A late charge of $50 will be charged to rooms that are not vacant after 11:00 am and full rate after 4:00 pm. If you are involved in changing rooms, please be prepared to vacate your first room by 11:00am. It is not necessary to check out at the front desk - simply notify the desk upon vacating the room and your current charges will be transferred to your new room.  Your new room will be available after 4:00pm.

 

Pets

Pets are allowed in pet friendly rooms only. Should a pet be discovered in a non-pet friendly room, you will be billed a $100 non-refundable penalty fee. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Hotel Manager.  Refer to our Pet Policy for detailed information.

 

No Smoking Policy

Guests electing to ignore our no smoking policy in the rooms will be assessed a $200 non-refundable cleaning and deodorizing fee.

 

Key Policy

Keys must be returned to the Guest Services  upon check out.  If you are departing outside of our hours of operation, you may drop the keys in the drop box in front of the hotel entrance doors (inside).  Lost or missing keys will be charged a non-refundable fee of $25 per key.

 

Quiet Hours

Quiet Hours are from 12am through 7am. Noise complaints may result in an additional charge.  Quiet Hours may vary when an event is held at Half Moon Bay Bar & Grill.

 

 

Room Damages

You are responsible for leaving the room in the same condition (with normal usage) as it was when you arrived. The registered guest will be held responsible for any and all damages to the room found during the stay or after departure. This property is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We assume no responsibility for accidents or injuries to guests or vehicles. We will not be held responsible for loss or damage to valuables that are not secured properly.

 

Grilling/Barbecuing

Grilling or barbecuing is not permitted on hotel property.

 

Parking

We offer free parking for our Hotel guests.  Unregistered vehicles may be removed from the property.  Hotel guests with boat trailers must arrange parking with Guest Services.  We will not be held responsible for loss or damage to valuables that are not secured properly.

 

Special Requests

If requested, a rollaway bed may be placed in your room prior to your arrival (subject to availability). There is a $10 charge for each rollaway bed.  If Sofa Sleeper is being used, please let guest services know so we can prepare it before your arrival.

 

Weather

Please be aware that the weather changes quickly on the coast. Guests should plan their trips in relation to the weather as no refund will be given due to weather conditions or power outages.

 

Television

All of our rooms have basic cable and television.  We ask that guests keep the volume of the TV at a level that will not disturb other guests.

 

Telephone 

All rooms have free local telephone service; however, to make a long distance call, guests must use a calling card or make a collect call. 

 

Internet Service

We offer complimentary secured Wi-fi for our Hotel, RV, and Restaurant guests.  Wi-Fi password can be obtained from Guest Service.
